Community-First Hospital That 'Actually Cares'
Doral Centre Animal Hospital opened its doors in 1997 with a vision to provide something different - a place where Miami-Dade community local pet owners could find everything their furry family members needed under one roof.
Our founder, Dr. Anjanette Burke, recognized early on that the diverse, vibrant community of Doral and surrounding areas needed a veterinary hospital that understood their unique needs. As families from Latin America, the Caribbean, and beyond made South Florida their home, we became their pets' home too.
Our History & Timeline
From a Small Vet Clinic to Full-Service Hospital

Our Growth Timeline:
- 1997 - Opened as a general practice clinic
- 2003 - Added 24/7 emergency services
- 2008 - Launched comprehensive wellness plans
- 2015 - Expanded to include advanced specialty services
- 2020 - Opened Woodland Pet Lodge for luxury boarding
- 2024 - Miami-Dade's complete pet care destination (One-stop shop)
- Today - Moved to a bigger, newer facility. Ready to serve entire Miami

Today, that dream has grown into something beyond what I could have imagined. We've become part of thousands of families' stories - celebrating new puppies and kittens, supporting pets through illness and injury, and providing comfort during difficult goodbyes.
